Workshop Description

In this workshop you will start by learning that you already know more about data visualization that you think you know, and walk away with a deeper understanding of the data visualization creation and design process. We will cover basic principles, such as how to make decisions about your data that inform visualization, as well as best practices for design, such as color and arrangement. Whether you are creating simple charts or complex, interactive graphics, this workshop will provide you with a toolkit of knowledge for making better data visualizations.
